Kleines 37-Dinge-Update / Little 37-things-update

Bianca

With the beginning of a new year it's time for me to recap what I have actually managed to do of my list with 37 things to do before I turn 38!

So far only 7 tasks are completed... (you can find a list of them here)

I'm constantly working on task # 17 "Read 30 books"! I have finished 14 of those 30; so this is not too difficult.

Number 14 "Organize all my scrapbooking files in Photoshop" is also in progress at the moment. It's so much work, but someday it has to be done!

And yesterday I did a little bit of task #29 "Visit 5 different pools (in- and outdoor)"!
Since school won't start before Monday and my hubby also has this week off, we all did a trip to the indoor family swimming pool
"Rheinwelle" in Gau-Algesheim.
I guess about 1000 other families had the same idea! It was incredibly full! We didn't find a place to sit until almost to the end of our stay. The different pools were crowded like h*ll and it was sooo loud!

Don't get me wrong: If you like those kind of swimming-pools I could certainly recommend the Rheinwelle bath!

But this task is such a challenge for me! I hate public swimming pools! My family sees this a bit differently though... Since last year I am attending a baby-water-safety-course with our Little One at the thermal bath in Wiesbaden (swimming-pool #1). But this is on weekdays in the morning, so the bath is not very crowded yet and the course only takes half an hour.
So now I have visited 2 swimming pools. We'll see when I'll have the courage to try another one...

I will try to complete task #5 "Make Lemon Curd myself" next week. This is rather easy, but something I wanted to do for such a long time now, but never got around to finally do it!

I'll keep you posted on my progresses!

Liebe Bianca,

Marisa

Lemon curd is also something that I want to try.

Good luck with the pools. I haven't taken my girls swimming since the summer. We have a good pool about 15 to 20 minutes from home but with it being so cold I don't want to leave the house. But it would be a nice treat.

I admire you sticking to your list, Bianca! I would not attempt such a one, although I have dozens of lists already. :)

I'm very interested in how the lemon curd turns out, too!

Have a super new week and thank you for your visit and sweet words on my article. :)
