Heute war ein guter Tag / Today was a good day!

Ja, auch mich gibt es noch! Letzte Woche waren wir für ein paar Tage verreist, davor war Ostern, davor habe ich viel gearbeitet und DAVOR habe ich den Garten "besetzt"!
Es war also allerhand los ausserhalb der Blogwelt bei uns. Aber jetzt geht's hier wieder rund, sag ich Euch!

Zuerst zeig ich Euch mal, was ich heute zu meinem Erstaunen entdeckt - und natürlich auch gleich mitgenommen - habe:

Jawoll - die erste deutsche Ausgabe der Martha Stewart Living!
Nach dem ersten Durchblättern muss ich sagen, sie steht der amerikanischen Ausgabe in nichts nach.

Also auf zum Zeitungskiosk!

Und gerade eben habe ich entdeckt, dass ich endlich, endlich mal Glück bei einer Verlosung bei der zauberhaften Liebesbotschaft-Joanna hatte!
Ich freu mich so und sitze hier gerade mit einem gewaltigen Grinsen im Gesicht auf dem Sofa!

So, jetzt aber gut für heute. Morgen ist auch noch ein Tag...

Well, it's me again! I'm still here. Last week we've been on a short-trip to Munich, before that it was Easter weekend, before that I had to work a lot and before that I worked my a** off in the yard! You see, many things do to around here.

But now we are back to "normal" (what is normal by the way?) and I will write more often now!

First I want to show you what I discovered today:

YES! It's the very first German issue of Martha Stewart Living! Finally...

And from what I read so far, it's as good as the American issue! Go get it!

And THEN - I just read a few minutes ago that I was lucky in one of Joanna's amazing giveaways!

I'm sitting here on my sofa with a huge grin in my face!

We'll see what tomorrow brings...

In den letzten Tagen habe ich viel über neue Posts und Ideen nachgedacht. Vor Weihnachten war das Thema hier ja für viele Wochen quasi vorgegeben. Aber jetzt...?

Ich habe mich also gefragt, was ich denn selbst gerne lesen würde, und dabei fiel mir auf, dass ich die Wochenend-Lese-Tipps auf den amerikanischen Blog-Seiten immer so gerne mag!
Kurz und gut - das möchte ich auch machen!

Jedes Wochenende werde ich an dieser Stelle meine Lieblingsposts der vergangenen Woche (bzw. der letzten Zeit) bewerben - sortiert nach Themen.

Vielleicht findet Ihr ja auch Gefallen daran?

Dieses kleine Tagebuch von Doro Ottermann habe ich (auf Wunsch) zu Weihnachten bekommen und es seitdem (fast) täglich im Einsatz.
Anders wie herkömmliche Tagebücher ist dieses zum Ankreuzen und Ausfüllen. Das ist in wenigen Minuten gemacht, aber trotzdem bekommt man das Wichtigste unter.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about topics for future posts. During my Holiday Countdown before Christmas the theme was given. But now...?

So, while wondering what I would like to read I realized that I always liked those "weekend-reading-posts" in the American blogs that I follow.
To make a long story short: This is what I'd like to do, too!

Favorite Things:

I got this little red diary (by Doro Ottermann) for Christmas (it was on my wish list) and I've been using it (almost) every day since then.
But it's different than conventional diaries, because you only have to fill in the blanks here. There is also room to write a bit - just enough. It's done in a few minutes; just what I need!
